Audo

Audo is a ride-sharing app concept designed to reduce the social and financial friction of calling rides in groups. The experience centers around shared responsibility, automatic cost splitting, and built-in group features that make coordinating rides feel simple and reliable. By streamlining communication and payment, Audo removes common pain points that often arise when multiple people are sharing a ride.

This project explores how thoughtful interface design can simplify group decision-making. The product experience focuses on transparency, collaboration, and ease of coordination through intuitive UI patterns and clear information hierarchy. Features such as automated fare splitting, group ride planning, and shared trip management create a seamless experience that reduces awkwardness and uncertainty while making group transportation more efficient.

  • Product Designer responsible for concept development, UX design, and interface design.

  • Design of a conceptual ride-sharing mobile application focused on simplifying group ride coordination and automatic cost splitting.

  • A mobile app concept including user flows and key interface screens demonstrating shared rides, automatic fare splitting, and group coordination.

Traditional ride-sharing apps make group rides awkward. One person pays up front, reimbursement happens after the fact (or doesn’t), and coordination becomes a responsibility that most people don’t want. Audo reframes the experience around group dynamics, built-in payment accountability, and less friction from start to finish.

The Problem

The Concept

Audo allows users to create ride groups ahead of time, notify members when a ride is being called, and automatically split and charge each person’s portion once they confirm. The model also guarantees drivers a minimum tip to reduce uncertainty and improve reliability.
